Public Transport
Vienna has got a modern, efficient public transport system consisting of tramways, underground railway [U-Bahn], buses and municipal railways (S-Bahn).

here. The route of all public means of transport within Vienna can be easily found with 'Wiener Linien' under 'elekronische Fahrplanauskunft' (also in English).
You can buy tickets
• at shops of the “Wiener Linien” in underground stations and big tramway stations,
• at ticket counters at railway stations or at big underground stations,
• at tobacco kiosks (TABAK, TRAFIK).
• Single-ride tickets are also sold directly in buses or tramways (price see below)

Single-ride ticket € 1.50 (€ 2 at the bus or tramway)
"24 hours Vienna" ticket € 5
"72 hours Vienna" ticket € 12
The Vienna Card (72 h, reduced prices for entrances) € 16.90
Don´t forget to validate your ticket by stamping it!
