From the airport to the center
The Vienna International Airport is outside Vienna, 20 km away from the city center. The city center can be easily reached by public means of transport.
By bus (Airportshuttlebus)
Buses (Vienna Airport Lines/Shuttlebus) depart every 20 minutes.
The ride to Schwedenplatz/Morzinplatz (connections to U1, U4) takes approximately 20 minutes.
The ride to Westbahnhof (Western railway station; connections to U3, U6) takes 35 minutes.

By CAT (City Airport Train)
Trains depart at intervals of 30 minutes (xx:05 and xx:35); the non-stop ride to the City Air Terminal (Landstraße) (connections to U3, U4) takes approximately 16 minutes.

By train ("Schnellbahn" S7)
Trains (S7) depart at intervals of 30 minutes; the ride to the City Air Terminal (Landstraße) (connections to U3, U4) takes approximately 25 minutes.

By taxi
At the airport the taxi agency called 60160 has a green information desk in the arrival hall. The ride takes approximately 20 minutes.

From the airport to the venue
Go to Westbahnhof or Landstraße as described above.
From Westbahnhof: Take the underground (U6) in direction Floridsdorf to Währinger Straße/ Volksoper. There you can change to bus 40A in direction Döblinger Friedhof. Get off at Dänenstraße.
From Landstraße: Take the underground U4 in direction Heiligenstadt to Spittelau. Here you have to switch to bus 37A and take a ride to the terminal Dänenstraße.
From the Southern Railway Station ("Südbahnhof") to the city center
Take the tramway D in direction Beethovengang and get off at Opera. Alternatively, you can take the tramway 18 in direction Burggasse/Stadthalle to Südtiroler Platz. As you only have to go for one station, you can also walk (approx. 5 min.). At Südtiroler Platz you have to switch to underground U1 in direction Leopoldau to Stephansplatz.
From the Southern Railway Station ("Südbahnhof") to the venue
Take the tramway D in direction Beethovengang and get off at the station Börse. Take bus 40A in direction Döblinger Friedhof and get off at Dänenstraße.
From the Western Railway Station ("Westbahnhof") to the city center
Take the underground (U3) in direction Simmering to Stephansplatz.
From the Western Railway Station ("Westbahnhof") to the venue
Take the underground (U6) in direction Floridsdorf to Währinger Straße/ Volksoper. There you have to switch to bus 40A in direction Döblinger Friedhof. Get off at Dänenstraße.
Arriving by car
The BOKU University is in the northwest of Vienna.
Parking near the BOKU University is free. However, parking in the central areas of Vienna is limited to 1½ - 2 hours, and a parking ticket (available at tobacconists (TRAFIK)) is required. You can find your way with the route planning program within Vienna (only in German).
